Victorian Christmas Tour

  The Carson City Historical Society presents its annual Victorian Christmas Tour to be held on Sunday, December 9, 2007, from noon to 5 p.m. Nine locations will be on this years' tour including a home new to the tour, the Noteware Home (Chauncy Noteware was one of Carson City's earliest settlers). The other homes on tour this year will be the Roberts House, Bliss Mansion, Chartz House, Westwall Militaria, Greenhouse Garden Center, Smail House and the Krebs-Peterson home. Additionally, the Episcopal Church will be on tour as this year marks their 140th Anniversary.

  Entertainment and refreshments will be provided along the way. This year our entertainers will be Chris Bayer (banjo), Christina Bourne (singer), Mary Law (harpist) and Wally Earhardt as Abe Lincoln. Tickets for this year's tour are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students and $6 for children 6 through 12. Children under 6 are free. Tickets are available at the Greenhouse Garden Center (2450 S. Curry), Roberts House Museum (1207 N. Carson), day of tour, and the Carson City Convention and Visitors Bureau (1900 South Carson).

  This event is sponsored by the Carson City Historical Society and Carson City Re-development. The Carson City Historical Society is a nonprofit organization.
